Easy Fit Mattress Foundation.

Hi Pete,
Is your Easy Fit Foundation top solid (like ply wood ) with no flexibility or is it like the box springs of old where there  are coils of steel running across the top that are flexible with  some  give?
Also will the foundation be able sit on the steel bed frame as my present foundation does? My present foundation sits into  an  “L” shaped steel frame that connects to our head board. 
We presently have a king and are going to stay with the king.

Hi Ray,
The old boxsprings, that actually had springs in them, were made at a time when all mattresses were firm. The coiled spring boxspring helped to make a firm mattress more comfortable.
Today's "boxsprings", for the most part, have vertical steel struts and a grid to hold it together...providing no flex.
The Easy Fit Foundation is an all wood slat construction.
It comes KD, but assembles easily, and with no tools needed.
Once assembled, it's quite substantial and has no give.
They are standard sizes and fit in a standard steel bed frame.
We have one in our guest room.
