We tested this at home, with each of us in the 225 lb range.
After 4 years, everything was in great shape, showing only the slightest degree of wear.
Our son and his wife are now using that bed.

About a year ago, we started carrying the Natura brand. Among their offerings is the Greenspring line...using the same coil system as the Beautyrests.
The difference is that the coils are twice tempered, while the Beautyrest coils are not tempered.
The coil count is higher than in the World Class models, and these mattresses are upholstered with Talalay latex and contain no memory foam.
We've ordered the ultra plush model to test at home, which we will receive on Wednesday.
Considering that the components of the Greenspring are of much higher quality to those used by Simmons, logic dictates that it should hold up well and provide superior support and comfort.
As far as 1st hand knowledge of this goes, I'll know more in about a year.
If it performs as expected, the lower cost of the Natura Greenspring, would make it a much better value to the consumer.
And Mike, that's what we're all about...quality and value.
In theory, this should work for large people, as well as it has worked for the number of average weight people in the past.
