A friend of mine, who bought from you, suggested that I contact you for advice on a mattress.
My situation is a bit unique.
I'm 5'5" and 140 lbs.
I've just graduated from college and am back at my parents house, sleeping on the old mattress I grew up on...and it's hurting my back.
I've just taken a job in Chicago and will be moving there soon. It's where I need the new mattress delivered.
I don't know how long I'll be there, maybe a year, maybe forever.
I don't have a lot of money to spend on this, and don't want to over buy, just in case I decide not to stay.
I've been doing some research on line, and was wondering about the mattresses they use in hotels.
Any help you can provide is appreciated.

Normally, hotels use a plush pillowtop model, to maximize comfort for their guests.
However, they don't hold up very well.
Hotel rooms a filled on a rotating basis and a mattress may get use 3-4 times a week...on average.
Even with that limited use, they are replaced every few years.
Plush pillowtop models are notorious for losing their support and comfort quickly, with every night, home use.
With The Simmons Beautyrests, this problem is so bad, that all of those types of models end up in a warranty claim.
For that reason, we recommend a luxury firm Beautyrest that is topped with a latex mattress topper.
The heavier gauge wire used for the coils in their firmer models, and the high quality of the latex topper, makes it a successful, long term purchase.
We don't even list the plush and pillow top models on our website, because the problem with them is so bad.

The other brand name is the Sealy Posturepedic. Hotels use a Classic Posturepedic and Sealy identifies them by their level.
In this case, it's Level A-3.

Given your situation, (young, just out of college, on a budget, on your way to a new city for a job, and not knowing how long you'll be there),
I have an alternate option for you.
Just south of Chicago, in Fort Wayne Indiana, is a company called "Wolf". They are a family owned and operated manufacturer, that was established in 1972....same family all this time.
They make a very fine quality product that costs much less.
They have a Hybrid mattress, using the pocketed coil system that Simmons uses, and already upholstered with all natural latex.
The reduced cost is due to two things...they're lack of overhead, compared to the name brands...and, their delivery system.
If you can manage a FedEx delivery, you can save money on a better quality mattress, that will last for many years and one that is quite comfy.
