The reason why you current mattress has lasted you so long, is because it has no memory foam in it.
Between the Tempurpedic commercials and the hype from stores that carry it, you'd think it was the best thing since sliced bread.
Memory foam is, in fact, as proven itself to be thee worst material ever invented, over its 20 year history..and if you buy one, you won't have to wait long before it loses its comfort and support.
Memory foam is the only temperature sensitive material on the market. It softens as it warms from your body heat. No other material does that...and that's not a good thing.
Besides its poor performance, is also off gasses the toxic chemicals from which it's made.
It's a good thing that you didn't get one. It would be a huge waste of money.
Latex foam rubber, on the other hand, is all natural supportive and comfortable...and, extremely long lasting.
Latex is and has been thee best upholstery material since the 1920s. THIS, is what will hold you...and for a good long time.
