Hi Pete,
Hi Pete,
I love the Heavenly Bed at our Westin time share. But the Simmons mattresses have mixed reviews online - mostly that they only last a few years. I see they have a "black" line.
I, personally, don't like a firm mattress, but do not like sagging.
Can you recommend Simmons? Or should I look elsewhere?
Also, should I order from the Westin store if I do choose the Heavenly Bed or is the exact equivalent available elsewhere?
Thanks, Amanda

Hi Amanda,
Order a mattress directly through a hotel, and you'll pay 2 to 3 times what you would at retail.
Here are links to each of these options. Besides the delivery being free, there is no sales tax.

Hotel mattresses are used on a rotating basis...and maybe are used 3 night a week. After a few years, they are replaced.
This is all well and good for the travel industry. But, for every night use at home, you need something that will hold up well and provide you with value, as well as, a good night's sleep.
I have a couple of options for you.
The independent movement of the individually pocketed coil units provide contouring support, which maintains the natural alignment of your spine.
They, also, relieve pressure points. By all accounts, the most comfortable type of support.
The first option is one that we've recommended for years and with great success.
It's a Simmons Beautyrest World Class Annapolis Place mattress in luxury firm with a 2" soft Talalay latex mattress topper for extraordinary surface comfort.
This comes with free delivery, set-up and removal of the old mattress.
If you are alone and with no one to help you, this would be your best option.
Simmons also makes these mattresses in plush, like in the hotels, but as you've seen with the reviews, they do not hold up well at all. The gauge of the wire is very thin and the steel is not tempered and the mattresses are topped with poly and memory foams, which also, do not hold up....one of the main reasons for the latex topper. Besides being the most comfortable, latex is also the most resilient upholstery material available.
And, it's all natural. For relief of pressure point pain and muscle relaxation, there is nothing else that comes close to latex foam...not for the last 100 years.
Option #2 would require someone on your end to help you, as it is delivered via UPS.
It is also an individually pocketed coil unit, with a thinner gauge wire than the luxury firm Beautyrest coils. The difference is that the steel is double tempered and the upholstery in the mattress is soft latex. An additional latex topper is not necessary.
The mattress is made by a very old, (1876), family run company in the Midwest. The quality is very high and the value is, as well. The model name is "Adara"
It is, both supportive and extremely comfortable.

Moisture from perspiration causes premature wear.
Protect your investment with high quality, Waterproof Mattress and Pillow Protectors that sleep cool and don't shrink.
Thanks, Pete
