The issue we are running into it that the bed is just too hard for both of us (I’m 6’2 and 245 while my wife is 5’2 and 120).  It gives me hip issues (feels like glutes/lower back) and her shoulder problems sleeping on the bed (we are back and side sleepers).   Now not knowing much about how coil counts vs wire gauge are related, hopefully this mattress will hold up over time but if you suggest we made a mistake perhaps you could suggest another Simmons Sears Canada might carry.  We were certainly looking into latex toppers too which might help the bed situation, but we really need your help to figure out what the best setup might be to help us get a good night’s sleep without waking up sore in the morning.  Should my side of the bed have a different topper setup than hers due to weight differences? It’s all very confusing so your help is most appreciated.
Thanks again, Jamie

Hi Jamie,
Optimally, a body requires firm support and a soft sleeping surface for good night's sleep.
You already have the firm support. The pocketed coils provide firm, contouring support, which is the best type.
We often recommend a firm Simmons Beautyrest with a soft latex topper.
The Beautyrests also use a pocketed coil.
It seems to me that all you need is a layer of soft latex to finish the job.
Two inches of soft latex is all it takes to relieve the pressure points and relax the muscles.
THIS, is what will give you the deep sleep you're after.
Here is a link to the Natura of Canada Latex toppers. You'll find 2 latex toppers, one with wool on top.
If you like wool, that's fine, but the lesser expensive of the two, the one without the wool, is all you need. Delivery is free throughout Canada...and, there's no sales tax.
