Comparable mattress to a Stearns & Foster Estate Springbrook Luxury Plush.

I am looking for a new mattress comparable to a Stearns & Foster Estate Springbrook Luxury Plush. I have chronic back pain and I'm 5'5" and 165 lbs., my husband is 6'1" and 170lbs. Do you have any recommendations?

Hi Jennifer,
The Springbrook was the top of the line, at the time. It had latex and no memory foam.
The Springbrook is now a discontinued model. 
Since then, Tempurpedic bought Sealy/Stearns & Foster. Now, every model uses memory foam.
We have stopped carrying S&F, and no longer recommend them.
One by one, the name brands have gone bad, not only using memory foam, but using a lot of it.
Using memory foam, creates a mattress that is made to sell. It has a lot of initial comfort...just enough to stay in the home beyond the exchange period.
Memory foam performs poorly, losing its comfort and support within months of purchase.
To add injury to insult, memory foam is made of a 61 chemical soup. Some of those chemicals are toxic, like formaldehyde and benzene. Memory foam off gasses those toxic chemicals, which attack your respiratory system. In short, it's not only a lousy product, it's a health hazard.
To avoid all this, we much look for alternative mattresses via lesser known manufacturers.
The one I would recommend to you, that will produce a similar feel to the Springbrook, is the Adara model from the Wolf Mattress Company.
Also using an individually pocketed coil, the upholstery is soft latex....NO MEMORY FOAM, or poly foam...all-natural and chemical free.
Latex, has been the best upholstery material for nearly 100 years....far more resilient and more comfortable, to boot.

Don't let the price fool you, this is a superior quality product....without all the hype, BS, excessive mark-up, or trucking costs.
