How do you keep pillows from going flat?‏

I think the whole pillow industry is nothing more than a big scam. 
First, I have to go through a few different pillows before I find one I like, and when I do, it goes flat on me only a few months later.Can you help me find a pillow that won't do that? 
Do you have any helpful hints on how to keep pillows from going flat?

Hi Albert,
The culprit in all of this, is perspiration. Once your pillow becomes dampened from your perspiration, the fibers break down and voila, you need a new pillow.
Pillows that don't break down from perspiration, are made of natural latex.
But, even though they keep their shape and comfort for years...after a while, they start to smell.
So, whether you're buying a latex pillow or any old thing, the best way to get the most from your pillow, is to protect it with a water proof pillow protector.
They are reasonably inexpensive and more than pay for themselves.
They are, also, very good to have when traveling...protecting you from whoever used that hotel pillow before you.
