I find the combination of a firm Simmons Beautyrest, (not plush), along with a latex topper provides the best support and comfort. This is what we use at home.

The Ultimate Latex topper is the one to get.
My greatest concern about the wool on the Snuggletop model, is that wool provides an environment for dust mites to breed.
