My husband bought a TempurPedic mattress for his back pain. After the first couple of nights my hip hurt. The Store told us to walk on the mattress to loosen it up. 4 months later my hips still hurt, any advise?
Hi Luann,
The memory foam on your Tempurpedic is a temperature sensitive material. It softens and collapses once warmed from your body's heat and pressure is placed upon it from your body's weight. You are sinking through the memory foam to the harder poly foam beneath it.
This is what is causing the pressure at your hip.
Add a 2" layer of soft Talalay latex to the top of your mattress and your problem will be solved.
