Hi Mark,

It's been more than 10 years, since these beds were two sided. The whole point of them going one-sided was to force into buying mattresses more frequently.

And while you can't flip them, there are a couple of things that you can do to have them wear more slowly.

First, is to rotate the mattress. For optimum affect, rotate your new mattress every month for the first year and once a season (4x a year), thereafter.

This would be the standard for flipping an older mattress, as well.

Secondly, you can add a latex topper. Latex is thee most resilient upholstery material available. A 2" layer of latex will absorb much of your body weight, leaving less work for the mattress.

The result, is a mattress that will last twice as long as the manufacture intended. We use one on our Beautyrest at home. With each of us in the 220 lb range, it's the best way to get the most for your money. By allowing you to put off re-buying a mattress, it's one of the few things that you can buy that more than pays for itself.
