Mattress with a Platform Bed.

Hi Ellen,
Platform beds are made to be used with a mattress only. All you have to do is get rid of your boxsprings and you will have your mattress at an acceptable height. Some platform beds have two leg settings, one to allow you to use a low-profile boxspring. However, it sounds like you have a standard height boxspring.
