Latex foam topper, mattress protector, and boxspring question,

Hi Pete,
Thanks for the reply.  I'm planning to order the 2" latex topper from your site this weekend because of the Columbus Day sale.  A couple quick follow-up questions: Do you put a mattress pad over the topper or just a fitted sheet?  I want to get the most benefit from the topper and didn't know if a mattress pad would affect it.  Second, do you recommend the standard box spring or low profile with the Annapolis luxury firm?  The Annapolis mattress and standard foundation would probably work ok with my bed frame and height but I wanted to check whether the low profile foundation provides the same support as the taller version.  Which foundation height is ordered more often?

Hi Brent,
The foundation most often purchased is the lo-profile...solely for convenience of getting in and out.
The quality of the box spring are the same.
The mattress is 13" thick and you'll add a 2" topper for a 15" total.
Add that to the height of your bed frame...then figure in the 9" for the standard box and 5.5" for the lo-profile box...which will tell you what you need to know to decide.
We us a flat, un-quilted mattress protector at home, which does not interfere with the feel of the latex. You should always use a waterproof mattress protector to protect your investment.

These are on sale at 10% off during the Columbus Day Sale...along with the latex toppers.
A polyester quilted cover comes with the topper. It isn't waterproof and not my first choice for adequate protection.
