DDD, Back Surgery, Latex Mattress, S&F Ocean View Villa‏

Hi Jesse Lynn,
An all latex mattress would be a good choice for someone with your condition, size and sleeping position. However, you didn't buy an all latex mattress. Your mattress has a lot of polyurethane foam at the top, which compresses very easily. Sleep on it long enough and your back problem will start to worsen.
You have a couple of options open to you. You can go with an innerspring and add a latex topper, or you can actually buy what you thought you were buying, an all latex mattress.

Your condition dictates that you do not indulge your sense of luxury, as you did with the mattress you bought. You back requires firmer support. You can easily get a mattress with enough comfort to sleep deeply, without over doing the surface softness.
