Simmons Black mattress, latex topper & pillow for herniated discs, shoulder and neck pain

I'm looking to purchase a new mattress. I now have a plush and at the moment cannot tell you the brand, but it way too soft and hot. My partner and I both are side sleepers and both are having neck and shoulder pain. He also has some herniated discs in his back. We have shopped the Simmons Beautyrest Black Abriana at Sears. Do you think this would be the best fit for us? One of my main complaints (other than neck and shoulder pain) in the bed I have now is that I feel like I sink into and am always hot. Thank you.

Hi Darla,
"Sink into it and too hot", are charachteristics of memory foam...which ends up hurting your spine and aggravating the pressure points in your shoulder.
The Abriana has a little, but it's not the regular memory foam that is in your mattress. Simmons uses Next Generation memory foam, which is far less temperature sensitive and much more resilient than regular memory foam. The triple strand wire "Cable Coils" in the Simmons Black line, make them the strongest innerspring mattress on the market today. 
The Abriana will provide adequate support for your spine and herniated discs. You'll also need a soft latex topper, which will provide long lasting comfort without sacrificing the firm support those mattresses provide. Latex is all natural, soft and resilient....a much better product than memory foam for relieving the pressure in your shoulder. 2" of soft Talalay latex is all you'll need.
We also carry a pillow that works great for the arthritis in my neck. It's, by far, the best pillow I've ever used to relieve my neck pain.
