Two-Sided Mattress with NO Memory foam or Simmons Beautyrest with a Latex Topper

Hi
I had a 2004 or 2005 sealy posturpedic elite series euro top plush probably 16 or 17 inches deep
this thing is great but its time for new one, so i got a sealy posturpedic gel series with opticool plush pillowtop  13/14 inches deep
I'm not a fan of my new mattress
what I'm trying to locate now is a mattress with a euro pillow top plush that doesn't use the memory foam
I like a little bounce back rather than a sinking and stay sunk
where can i look to find something like that, i guess its a older technology but i like the old mattress better than the new ones
thanks man
Any info will help
Jay

Hi Jay,
Steadily, over the past 10 years, mattress quality has been in decline...because of the ever increasing use of memory foam.
First, about 10 years ago, people wished they had their 2 sided mattresses back. Now, it's folks like you, who have a one sided mattress with little to no memory foam.
I would suggest to you that you are fighting a losing battle whenever you play this game their way. (They being the large chain stores that have come to dominate this industry to the point of dictating to the manufacturers. Now, all that any of these people concern themselves with is, "what sells"...and couldn't care less about "what works".
The only way around this is to think outside the box, and change the rules of the game.
We have available, a number of weapons in our arsenal to help you fight the "money wasting game" that is played by this industry.
The seductive nature of today's mattresses is all they need to make you into a regular customer.
Since you're a guy, I'll put it to you in guy terms.
Remember that really good looking girl who jerked you around so bad...and how you hung on just because she was sooo fine, physically? Remember doing that more than once?...How good it feels in the beginning?...Remember how painful it ended up being? Memory foam and pillowtops are like that.

We have a two sided mattress that is as comfortable as any pillowtop, uses the same coil system as your older Posturepedic and has no memory foam in it. Here is the link to that. It too, is 17" deep.

Another solution is to start with a firmer mattress, and add a 2" soft latex topper. Latex is and has been the best material available. It's soft and resilient. You don't sink through it. It holds you up and adds tears of life to any mattress.
Here are links to the Simmons Beautyrest World Class Annapolis Place in luxury firm mattresses and the latex toppers. The topper you'll want for that is the 2" Soft Talalay.
