A Mattress for a guest room, Simmons Beautyrest

Steve writes:

What would you recommend for a full mattress/box spring set and a twin platform mattress which would be used infrequently (at most once a month for less than a week at a time)? I’m willing to add latex toppers in the recommended densities.
My goal is to make my guests temporarily comfortable but not so much that they want to move in with me J.
And for extra information, my primary guests will be in the 60+ age category and neither overweight. One has some moderate back issues and the other has moderate shoulder/hip issues.
I purchased my king mattress(actually two twin mattresses) from you several years ago based on your recommendation and have been quite happy with them (both delivery and sleep-ability).
Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,
It's good to see you back.
For the use you will give it, I'd say that a latex topper is purely optional...not really necessary for longevity, as this is not for use in a master bedroom.
The mattress that I find to be the best buy and most appropriate for guest and children's rooms, is the Simmons Beautyrest Flatbrook in luxury firm. It's really quite substantial....and comfortable.
Here is a link to that mattress. It can be ordered on-line or by phone. Delivery is free and there's no sales tax.
