Simmons Beautyrest World Class Grand Hyatt Hotel Mattress

We slept on this mattress for eight nights at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa Hawaii (22-48). We are considering the purchase of this mattress through the Simmons Guest Purchase Program. We would like your advice on this matter and read any available reviews about this mattress. We are also wondering if the plush model of this line will maintain enough support over time.

Hi Don,
The plush models use such a thin gauge wire for the coils that they don't keep their shape for more than a few months. They are so bad, that I do not include any of the plush models on my website.
Even so, the individually pocketed coils of the Beautyrest provide contouring support, designed to maintain the natural alignment of your spine. It's this, that made that mattress so comfortable. opt for a firmer model and you'll have the longevity you want. Softening the surface can be done by getting a pillowtop model. However, we recommend using a 2" layer of soft Talalay latex instead. The latex is much more resilient than the poly foam used in the pillowtop. The latex topper is extremely comfortable and the extra resiliency will absorb much of your body weight. Using a latex topper instead of getting the pillowtop model will double the life of the mattress. Here are links to all those options.
