Hey! I came across your blog recently and was wondering if you help me identify a mattress. I recently stayed at a Comfort Suites hotel and LOVED the mattress. Do you have any idea what brand they use? The mattress was really plush and did not sink in with the different weights of me and my spouse.
I am in the market for a new mattress, and I don’t know why but finding the perfect mattress is like finding a needle in a haystack!

Hotels use low end Sealy Posturepedics, Serta Perfect Sleepers and Simmons Beautyrest models. In fact, you can easily find a variety of these in any hotel....in any given room. Whenever we stay at a Comfort Suites, the mattress has been a Sealy Posturepedic
There is no such thing as "the perfect mattress", which would explain your difficulty in locating one. 
Generally, your body requires firm support with  enough surface comfort to sleep deeply.
Avoid memory foam and pillowtops and you will likely avoid making an expensive mistake. Let go of your notion of a "perfect mattress" and you'll find one to suit your needs.
This Sealy Posturepedic is the most common mattress used by hotels.
