$4500 Aireloom mattress? Pure LatexBLISS Latex Mattress is a much better bed

I want to keep it under 3,000.  They sales person at Macy's was trying to sell me some $4500 Aireloom mattress...just don't want to spend that much.  The less the better but want something good quality but more importantly that will be comfortable.  I had this idea of a luxurious hotel type bed at home ( I know hotel beds are not usually good quality) but still haven't found it.  Thanks for all your time!

You can get the best there is for that kind of money. There are lots of high priced mattresses that are nothing more than money makers...worthless junk that wears out within a year...all profit. Everyone gets a "taste of the gate" when one is sold. And as with most things in life, if there's a winner, there's also a loser. With these kinds of mattresses, there are many winners...the manufacturer, the retailer, the salesman...with you footing the bill, the only loser is the consumer.
