Stearns & foster Tower View Villa Latex Mattress

Hopefully you can help me. We purchased a Sealy King Reflexion Newport Beach in 2007 and about 3 months ago noticed that the body indentations would stay when we got out of bed. Now it can barely be slept on due to causing bad back pain.
Anyway, we submitted a claim and, after 6 weeks, Sealy said that they would replace the mattress with a similar model since the Reflexion is no more. Here in lies the problem. Sealy says that they’re closest comparison mattress is the Embody in the Mediation line. There are no Sealy Meditation mattresses within 100 mile radius so I don’t have the option of lying on one. That said, both local Sealy gallery store’s managers said that the Embody isn’t even remotely close to the comfort properties of the Newport Beach, totally different. According to both stores, the closest mattress, comfort wise, is either the Tuscan Summer Villa or the Swiss Mountainside Villa, both Sterns and Foster.
Now the rep at Sealy said that those are much more expensive mattresses and I’d have to pay an upgrade charge of between 800-1100 if I went with either of those. Sounds to me that they are trying to replace my mattress based on price, not construction and comfort. I could care less about price but I’m not paying an upgrade fee and feel I should have my mattress replaced by a mattress that is of similar comfort not one that is similar in price. Would you happen to know off hand what would be the most comparable mattress with regard to construction and comfort to the Newport Beach?

Hi Dorian,
Sealy used to be one of my favorite brands. In June of 2011 they cheaped out, so to speak.
Their latex line was remarketed under the Stearns & Foster label.
The closest match in the S&F Luxury Latex Collection, is the "plush" model, the Tower View Villa.
The ones you mentioned are not the same.
