Springwall Chiropractic Pillowtop Mattress

Jeanette writes:

We have been sleeping on a springwall chiropractic pillowtop mattress for 18 years. we are both side sleepers my husband is 6'about 160 lbs very lean and has had hip problems as well as neck and low back pain from years of biking and jogging. additionally he is a light sleeper. I am 5'3 135lbs and have been experiencing back pain and hip pain as well. I am a heavy sleeper but when husband turns over I am airborne. We are thinking our mattress is not helping us anymore but want to be educated before we purchase a new mattress. Could you give us advice on what we should be considering.
Thank you, Jeanette

Hi Jeanette,
First, you may have to lower your expectations for your new mattress, if you are basing what to expect on the performance of your current mattress. Simply put, "they just don't make 'em like that anymore".
Best for reducing motion transfer, the Simmons Beautyrest. When buying a Beautyrest, it's important to get one of the firm models. The "plush"models use a much thinner gauge wire that doesn't hold up.
The best made is the Ansleigh luxury firm from Simmons' Black Series.
