Headaches from memory foam mattress

Hi Pete,
We purchased a memory foam mattress online. It is extremely hard and my husband can't sleep on his side now. We only paid about $400 for with a 120 return policy. Problem is returning it is going to be nearly impossible. We have a pillow top mattress cover and a feather bed, but now I've started with tension in my neck and shoulders (after 2 weeks) and headaches that may or may not be due to the mattress. Can you recommend a topper that might solve this problem. If so maybe we can keep the mattress. If not, the best option probably is selling the thing on Craigslist. I mean it seems comfortable and we sleep well, but something just isn't right about it.

Hi,
Memory foam is comprised of 61 different chemicals. Many of those are toxic. Headaches is but one of the many symptoms suffered from the toxic off gassing of those chemicals.
You are better off to get rid of it and not buy memory foam again.
If you decide to keep it, you can soften the surface with 2" of soft Talalay latex. The latex topper, we carry, are 100% natural and chemical free. Here's the link. You can order on line.
