Simmons Beautyrest Lumberton Mattress. Do I need a boxspring?

We already bought a bed for our daughter, and now planning to buy the mattress for her.

Seen your recommendation about "Simmons Beautyrest Lumberton luxury firm mattress"

But I am wondering if we need buy the boxspring/foundation or not given that it would make the beds too high?

Hi Dan,

If the bed you bought has enough slats to support the mattress, like with a platform bed, then no. A mattress only is all you need.

If the bed is a standard headboard & footboard with rails, then yes. The boxspring is needed to support the mattress.
