Simmons Beautyrest True Energy or Black Model


Pete,

I'm looking at the Beautyrest Black Ansleigh and the True Energy Brielle. With your discounts and free box spring I want to order before the end of the week. Both are in the plush firm variety. 

Since the two are close in price which is the best value overall?

Do either of them sleep hot?

Which has better longevity? and does the memory foam effect performance?

we haven't been able to see either in person. is the plush-firm feel similar to the plush firm of the elite line? we have been able to see those in person.

Hi Tom,
All of the plush/firm models are similar in over-all feel.
The Black models use a triple strand wire for half the coils. The TruEnergy are all single strand.
This triple strand "Cable Coil" is the strongest available. For the small difference in price, the Ansleigh makes the most sense. It what my wife and I sleep on.
The small amount of memory foam used is "Next Generation" memory foam. It far more resilient and far less temperature sensitive than regular memory foam. It does not sleep hot.
