Our current mattress is a pillowtop coil mattress that has seen better days. It is only a few years old and has "his and her" body impressions that have gotten pretty deep…(even with regular rotation).

We definitely don’t want a mattress with any memory foam in it.

Latex is and always has been, the best of the foams...more comfortable and more durable than any other.
You have to be careful as to not buy cheap latex that comes from China.
Chinese latex is mixed with clay. It’s not only cheaper in price, it’s just cheaper overall, not lasting nearly as long as pure latex.
