Hi Pete,
We bought a Tempurpedic memory foam mattress, a few months ago.
It felt fine at first, except for it sleeping a bit warm.
Now that my exchange period has ended, I sink into it and my back pain has returned.
I feel like I just threw thousands of dollars down the toilet.
I'm 50 years old and only weigh 170 lbs.
Yet, I'm now sinking into this pos. Please excuse my French.
What do I do now?
Thanks, Augustine
Hi Augustine,
The problem with memory foam is that it's temperature sensitive.
It softens as it warms from your body heat, allowing you to sink.
It reflects your body heat back to you, causing you to sleep hot.
The toxic chemical off gassing is the most egregious of all the negative side effect.
Memory foam is so bad, it should be outlawed.
Wouldn't have been nice if that, "it felt fine at first" experience lasted for years instead of months?
