In 2002 we purchased a Simmons Backcare Mattress that is amazing!!
We still have it, still love it!
However, it is a queen size so it has been used as a guest bed since 2006 when we purchased a king size bed. We have gone through probably 3 or 4 mattresses since then but every mattress has been horrible.
Including the Tempur-Pedic that my husband just had to have in 2017 and cost us $5,200.
Now he wants to spend $4k on a Sleep Number Bed.
I was trying to find the Simmons Backcare mattress but I see they no longer make this type.
I found it available in other countries but not the US.
I did see you recommended another brand to someone who had inquired on your site back in 2015 but the mattress you recommended then is no longer made either.
What type of mattress might you offer that has similar coils and is as amazing as our old Simmons Backcare mattress?

Hubby is something of an advertisement junkie. Isn’t he?
Millions of dollars are spent advertising junk mattresses, of which the Sleep Number is no exception.
Simmons was sold, several years ago, to an investment group.
That same investment group also bought Serta.
Tempur-Pedic owns Sealy and S&F.
The product that each of these brands uses that makes them all junk mattresses, is the memory foam upholstery…touted as the best thing since sliced bread in all their advertising hype.
It is, in fact, the absolute worst upholstery material ever invented.
Sleep Number uses a bag of air for support, which just adds insult to injury.
A bag of air is as worthless for proper spinal support as waterbeds were.
And, the upholstery layer is memory foam.
No mattress that you buy that’s upholstered with memory foam, will produce a satisfactory result…despite all that advertising hype to the contrary.
