I need 3 mattresses, for the whole family.

Hi Pete,
I need 3 mattresses, for the whole family.
One for my husband and I, one for an adult child who visits regularly, and one for a young child.
My husband and I are heavy, each over 200 lbs. My adult son is not heavy. Our young son is only 9, but is a big boy.
What would you recommend?
Thanks, Lucy

Hi Lucy,
To make a successful mattress purchase, the key is in avoiding mattresses upholstered with memory foam.
Despite all the advertising hype to the contrary, memory foam is the worst upholstery material ever invented...specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.

All of the name brands have been sold to investors.
So, what once was quality, is now only about profit.

For the master bedroom, to provide excellent support, comfort and longevity, I recommend the same mattress my wife and I have.
We are the same sizes, basically...200 and 230.
The mattress is the Natura of Canada Greenspring Ultra Plush.
Our mattress will be 5 years old, this fall.
It’s still in like new condition...even at our weights.
Shown here:

Despite the comfort designation of “Ultra Plush”, it is not a too soft mattress.
The double tempered steel coils and latex upholstery material make it far more resilient than mattresses you’ll find in stores.
This mattress comes with white glove delivery, which includes set up in your bedroom and removal of your old mattress.

For your young one, I recommend the Wolf Pocketed Coil/Latex Hybrid Adara model.
Shown here:

Of the two mattresses on that page, the Adara is the stronger.
Comfortable, but firmer and more durable that the Tulah model.

Your older child will do better on the Tulah Mattress

The “Basic Black Platform” would be an excellent choice to support both Wolf mattresses...replacing the need for a box spring and bed frame.
Also, they provide additional storage space.

These Wolf mattresses and platforms ship via UPS.
Wolf is the oldest mattress manufacturer in the country that has been continually owned and operated by the same family...The Wolf Family...since 1873.
They make a fine quality mattress...which some of my family members have in their homes.

In all cases, shipping is free and there’s no sales tax.

We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry will extend the life of the mattress.

Thanks, Pete
