Custom Size Mattress.

We have a four poster bed made in Indonesia.  The space for the mattress is about 6 inches longer and 3-4 inches wider than a traditional queen.  
We like the mattress at a Holiday Inn Express we stayed at recently and would like a similar mattress.

Hi Annette,

You’re looking at buying a custom made mattress.

All of the name brands stopped making those, many years ago.

A google search for, “custom mattress, your state”, will produce any local manufacturer who is willing to do that...if any.

Even if you do find it, it’ll be very expensive.

If you use a standard queen, you can fill the gap with a spacer.

A 1” x 2” strip of wood along each side should fit perfectly.

(A 1” x 2” will measure 3/4” x 1 1/2”)

This way, you can get whatever you want.

It’ll only cost you an arm, instead of an arm and a leg.
