Bursitis, Arthritis, Latex Foam Mattress and Pillows.

We bought a California King pillow top 5 years ago.  Big mistake.  Until recently, Husband weight 380.  His side of pillow top is squashed, and we cannot flip mattress as you know.
We put different 4" Twin XL memory foam toppers on each side.  He looks like he is sleeping in a hole.  Mine feels delicious when I get in bed and HAS relieved the pressure point on my hip, but after about 30 minutes I wake with neck pain, back pain and headache.  I toss and turn all night trying to keep from stiffening up.  I use one small flat pillow and a neck roll they gave me at PT.  He has to use about 3 king pillows b/c the distance from his head to the mattress is so great when he sleeps on his side, due to his shoulder width.
Help!  Suggestions?

Your lack of sleep comes from your choices of the poorest quality materials available.
The memory foam topper is comprised of many chemicals, some of which are toxic. It off gasses those toxic chemicals and headaches are the most common side effect.
You are not giving your bodies the support it needs, nor have you chosen comfort layers that are any good.
You are, certainly, not alone...as these are the products pushed when you shop in stores.

The highest quality material available is latex foam...has been for nearly 100 years.
It's not commonly used by major mattress makers, as it lasts too long, which would thwart their intention for you to be in the market for a new mattress every few years.

My recommendation would be for a Pure Bliss "Nature" model to start.
Add an additional layer of soft all natural latex if you need more surface softness.
