Shoulder & Back Pain. A Latex Topper for a Too Firm Mattress.

Linda writes:

Hi Pete,
My husband in a large man 5'6" and 350 lbs. & I am 5'3" and about 160.
He has shoulder pain and needs a shoulder replacement
I have some less serious back pain, but I wake up with pain now.
He recently slept on an air mattress on the floor for 3 nights and his shoulder did not hurt for the first time in a long time.
Last summer, we slept on a soft bed for a few days that was bad for my back because due to his weight I was constantly fighting not to roll his way.
We do not want to spend thousands of dollars for a new mattress at this time.
Am thinking a mattress topper would be good.
What do you suggest that will work for both of us.
We have a queen size bed? Our current bed is firm (almost hard) and I don't think this is working for my back.

Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda,
The 3" soft Vytex Dunlop Latex Mattress Topper would be my recommendation.
The soft Vytex Dunlop will feel more substantial than the Talalay, holding up better to his size.
We are currently testing the 3" soft Vytex Dunlop at home...and are quite impressed with the comfort...and the substantive support.
Here is a link to the latex toppers.

Latex Mattress Toppers - All Natural Talalay Latex Toppers ...
Talalay Latex toppers are normally purchased as “Soft” for the purpose of softening a too firm mattress. However, both, the Vytex Dunlop & Talalay Latex Mattress ...
Thanks, Pete
