A New King Two Sided Wolf Mattress & Latex Topper for a Very Large Man.

Hello Pete, 
I'm in the market for a new king mattress for our platform bed. I was hoping you could give me your opinion on which ones are the best out there. 
My husband is a very large man, about 320 lbs and I'm 140. We are in early 50's. He doesn't like memory foam mattresses. He can't get comfortable and they sleep hot...even with the gel they say sleeps cool. 
We were looking at the Sealy Posturepedics in king. It felt good to try, but I don't know how good it will be in long run.

Sealy is now owned by Tempurpedic and their mattresses are loaded with memory foam. Memory foam is purposefully made to be comfortable initially, but lose that comfort quickly.
The purpose of this deception, is to cause the consumer to have to re-buy a new mattress more frequently.
The diabolical part of memory foam, is that it will return to its original shape when you get off of the mattress, so that you are very unlikely to prevail in a warranty claim.
Not to mention that it off gasses the toxic chemicals, from which it's made...adding insult to injury.
Your husband's sense is good, as memory foam is thee worst upholstery material ever invented for this purpose.
For a man, his size, you will need something strong enough to last long enough to get your money's worth.
